People

The people behind the placements.

AR Recruitment is a small team with a clear focus. Every search is handled personally. You will always know who you are speaking to, and they will always know your situation.

Phaibion Royal, Co-Founder of AR Recruitment

Phaibion Royal

Co-Founder

Phaibion spent over a decade in precision engineering, working on complex electrical systems for Bombardier, Rolls-Royce, and Airbus. He progressed from technical specialist to project manager to team leader, operating in environments where standards were non-negotiable and where the right people executing the right process was the only acceptable outcome.

That background informs everything about how AR Recruitment operates. The belief that rigorous process and genuine care for the work are not opposites, but the same thing pursued consistently.

Specialism: Registered Managers, Deputy Managers, senior leadership appointments across children's homes and adult care settings.

Marcus Anderson, Co-Founder of AR Recruitment

Marcus Anderson

Co-Founder

Marcus's route into this work could not be more directly relevant to what AR Recruitment is here to do. He built his career inside social care from the ground up: Support Worker, Senior Support Worker, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager. That progression means he understands not just what the job description says, but what the work actually demands. The weight a registered manager carries at the end of a difficult shift. The relationship a residential care worker builds over months with a young person who has learned not to trust adults.

That knowledge cannot be acquired by reading Ofsted guidance. He brings it because he lived it. When AR Recruitment assesses a candidate for a senior role, the conversation is a genuine one, between people who understand the work on both sides of the table.

He holds Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications in Residential Childcare Management.

Specialism: Registered Managers, Deputy Managers, Team Leaders, and trauma-informed practice roles across children's homes and adult care settings.

Kate Aldridge, Talent Acquisition Specialist at AR Recruitment

Kate Aldridge

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Kate's focus is the people. Not the process, not the paperwork. The actual human being on the other end of the conversation who is trying to work out whether a move is right for them and whether AR Recruitment is the right agency to trust with that decision.

She works primarily on candidate relationships across residential care, speaking to support workers, team leaders, and senior support workers at every stage: those actively looking, those quietly exploring, and those who are not sure yet but sense that something needs to change. Her job is to make that conversation easy, confidential, and genuinely useful regardless of where it leads.

What candidates consistently find is that Kate listens before she speaks, asks the right questions, and will tell them honestly if a role is not the right fit rather than push for a placement that does not serve them. That approach takes longer. It produces better outcomes. It is the only way AR Recruitment works.

Specialism: Residential Care Workers, Team Leaders, Senior Support Workers, Waking Night Workers across children's homes and adult care settings.
